I’ll just tell you right now, this bread was gone within one day in our house. ONE DAY. Now that means one of two things. Either, A: My family cannot control themselves in the presence of baked goods, or B: This bread is REALLY good. Okay, maybe it means both.
I’m actually pretty proud that this is the first pumpkin recipe I’ve posted this season so far. Usually I am the first one to whip out the orange stuff as soon as I see one leaf turn, but this year, I did my best to slow my pumpkin roll. No pun intended.
So some pretty exciting things are happening this week! Some of which I can’t tell you about (yet!), and some of which I can. Are you annoyed with me for saying that so much lately? What I CAN tell you is that I finish my dietetic internship on Thursday! For those of you who have been reading for awhile, you’ve been hearing me talk about this FOR-EV-ER. Completing the internship is necessary before you can sit for the registration exam to become a Registered Dietitian (sort of like clinicals or residencies for PT or med students), so this is kind of a big deal, guys. Once I’m done, I’ll be taking a few weeks off to study and then I’ll be taking (and hopefully passing!) the exam! Good vibes are much appreciated in the next month or so 🙂
Now I can’t be selfish and just talk about my own accomplishments. That would be rude of me. Because I’m not the ONLY one graduating in the coming weeks. Woody is also graduating from Puppy Kindergarten next week! Gosh, they grow up so fast don’t they!? I may be a little biased, but I think he may be valedictorian, or at least “Most Popular”. I mean, we’ll see guys, but I think the odds are pretty high. Definitely “Most Adorable” though. He and his buddy Cooper may even get “BFFs” or “Cutest Couple” because, seriously, they’re obsessed with each other. Cooper’s owner even joked that they want to hang a picture of Woody in their house so Cooper can stare at it when he gets lonely. Brb, crying.
Alright, enough puppy talk for you guys. Get to your kitchens IMMEDIATELY.
