Whoa. That’s a lot of flavor going down in one recipe. But don’t you worry, I promise it’s for good reason!
If you’re looking for a side dish to take to your holiday gathering parties, or if you’re like me and want to avoid the other sketchy side dishes that may be present at said parties (sorry Grandma), OR if you’re not that great of a cook but want people to think you are, this is the recipe for you. Because, 1. You just can’t really go wrong with sweet potatoes, 2. These take about 15 minutes of prep time and 3. They’re really, really good.
A lot of people think sweet potatoes are just for Thanksgiving, but don’t let them bully you. I bet if you asked him, Santa loves sweet potatoes just as much as the pilgrims did.
If you’re not a big orange flavor fan, you could totally make these with just the honey and balsamic and they would be just as good. The orange isn’t super overpowering by any means, but if it’s not for you, that’s totally fine! You can still impress all of your friends and family without it.
